I think Kate’s mum is right, Doherty is an unsuitable boyfriend for any girl, especially a rich one who him and his pals can sponge off. Kate must be off her trolley to even glance at someone like Doherty by accident. Still, if she’s used to getting what she wants and he’s playing hard to get, then he’s playing the oldest trump card in the book.
