You know Jo needs to realize if she doesnt want her children to be paper thin then dont make her character Herimone Granger Paper thin.
I think she needs to get out more |

…Except that JKR never called Hermione thin. She is not once described as thin, or slim, or trim, or anything like that. Really.

Good point, Tired. Hermione is somewhat misrepresented by Emma Watson (from the films), who, in actuality, is too thin and too pretty to be Hermione. In the books, Hermione’s strength always comes from her knowledge, and she is also brave and loyal. Being a girl, I completely agree with everything Jo said in her ‘rant’. I am nowhere near being overweight, but I have been called fat before and it really hurts. I’m not a senseless girl, but that simple word caused me to not eat for twenty-four hours. Society desperately needs to turn the thin obsession around. What does weight matter? Why is it so important? Why do we care so much?

J.K.Rowling would do better to look to her publishing indemnities and her won persona, given that she is being sued. She has an obsession about weight!People are too fat or too thin for her apparently.Hope her daughters grow up to write their own stuff about her!
