I’m Earl from India, 22 years old and a big fan of The Lord Of The Rings. I believe that your portrayal of Gandalf in all 3 movies was one, among others, that gave the movies a true breath of Tolkeinism…Although I understand the reasons for your decision and I am really saddened by it (a week after hearing Christopher Lee’s remarks about him not being able to fly to the Southern Hemisphere again), I really hopr and pray that The Hobbit happens before that day dawns when you finally decide that it is time.

P.S. I think your the stands you make insipite of your position are really noble and you are worthy of the title “Sir”, although what I think hardly matters.
