He has had a home in L. A. for many years where they spend a lot of time. He has said as recently as last week, they live between USA and France. The “dumb puppy” quote is years old now and has been run down into the ground. Johnny has said many tmes he loves the USA and wants his children to grow up in and learn both cultures, so they have homes in USA and France. The island is for now a vacation spot and as for the Bath home…he is probably going to be filming in the area for some time and always wants his family near.

OMG I live like 20 minutes away from Bath. I’ve heard that he hangs out there, but if he has bought a house then he’ll be around more often and I might get to meet him as I go to Bath quite often. The only problem is though is that he has like 5 homes and he’ll split his time between them so it’s not like he’ll be permatly living there. anyway I’ll go now before I write a novel lengh reply.

Mary, I totally agree with you. This poorly-written article is outdated and mostly incorrect. I guess that’s why they call it gossip. Johnny spends so much time on location, it’s not really fair to say he’s lived in France for seven years. He’s an American, entitled to his opinion, and has earned everything he’s received. I don’t care if he lives in L.A., south France, Bath, or the Caribbean. I just want him to keep making his great movies!

Depp has the ability to assume the looks, speech and mannorisms of each charactor he plays and he is completely credible in each role. He also seems to love and respect his craft; always a gentlemen on the set. The fact that he is in a committed relationship and a great dad adds to his appeal. I wish him happiness in his personal life and may his fans leave him and his family in peace. In other words ladies (and gents) get your own guy and be happy too.

if he even bought a house, are they sure he only paid £500,000 for it. houses round there are more like £2,500,000. he must have found a very cheap one.
