Madonna’s desire to adopt a baby during her trip to Malawi has been put on hold because husband Guy Ritchie doesn’t think she’s thought it through. According to a source quoted in the Sun: “Madonna is convinced it is the right thing to do but Guy has been very wary.”…

If Madonna wants to adopt this child, I think she should go ahead and do just that, regardless of what Guy or anyone else say, follow your motherly instinct which is always right. God will bless her for giving this young child the opportunity of a better life.
God Bless Madonna.

I have no objections if her intentions are altruistic. However this seems like its the new celebrity fad thing to show off their ‘global awareness’. This is just more serious than wearing red ribbons for HIV awareness at gala events a few years ago (passee now) and yellow ribbons for the return of the troops from Iran (becoming passee). Sting or Bono (whichever one) travelled with some amerindians a few years ago to highlight the need to protect the Amazon jungles but that faded as well because there was some novel bandwagon for bored celebrities to jump on. There is still no cure for AIDS, the troops are still in Iraq and the onslaught of the Amazon continues. What will they do with these children when the next fad comes?

guy ritchie should dump madonnas controlling preppy ways and the materialistic girl that goes along with her. he should go back to making movies that were raw and rockin. It clear he has no say in what he does and she has the final word. Think back to snatch and lock stock clearly his best work was done without her opinions.

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Talk about irresponsible!
