Crabbie, that was a very unneccessary comment. I have to say, she does seem to be getting very extra special treatment, I wonder why! It notmally takes four months from when everythings been finalised (in Vietnam), hers was taking 3 months as she had already ‘picked’ the child, now all of a sudden its taking a month, after which she could go and ‘collect’ the child whenever she pleases. Good on Angie for adopting and all that, and being an African myself I truly laud her efforts, but it seems she is letting these silly vietnames officials, through her, to treat these kids as commodities. The fact that we’re not american, european or from a western country does not mean we or our little ones are of any lesser value. This is not an Angie dig, its aimed at the officials in these countries, who upon seeing a foreigner, more especially a white one, and to top it off a wealthy hollywood celeb, they see $$$$$. I heard Angie promised them $2 million dollars if she was able to adopt. Hopefully she comes through with that but should give it directly to the orphanage AND NOT THE GOVERNMENT, ‘cuz they will just spend the money. I’d know.
