Zac Efron undergoes emergency surgery for appendicitis

Zac Efron underwent emergency surgery yesterday after complaining of severe abdominal pain. The High School Musical star was rushed into surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center yesterday morning after the pain was diagnosed as appendicitis – a condition that can be fatal if left untreated. This is absolutely ridiculous. Having your appendix taken out is a normal procedure. Just because Zac Efron is a celebrity doesn’t mean he should get extra special treatment. Thousands of ordinary every day people get this done and nobody freaks out over them and how they’re doing. The way people treat celebrities these days is just SO wrong. They’re normal people too.
