Have you seen TAKING 5 its the this comedy about some girls stuck in "social suicide" for messing up a contest their school was in. So they decided to redeem themselves by kidnapping a band. Sounds kinda weird I know but check it out.

Keep your mouth clean. That means a thorough brushing twice a day and flossing regularly.

Clean your tongue, too. Bacteria left on your tongue can contribute to less-than-fresh breath.

A drug, broadly speaking, is any chemical substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function. There is no single, precise definition, as there are different meanings in medicine, government regulations, and colloquial usage.

In pharmacology, Dictionary.com defines a drug as "a chemical substance used in the treatment, cure, prevention, or diagnosis of disease or used to otherwise enhance physical or mental well-being." Drugs may be prescribed for a limited duration, or on a regular basis for chronic disorders.

Recreational drugs are chemical substances that affect the central nervous system, such as opioids or hallucinogens. They may be used for perceived beneficial effects on perception, consciousness, personality, and behavior. Some recreational drugs can cause addiction and habituation.

Drugs are usually distinguished from endogenous biochemicals by being introduced from outside the organism. For example, insulin is a hormone that is synthesized in the body; it is called a hormone when it is synthesized by the pancreas inside the body, but if it is introduced into the body from outside, it is called a drug.

Many natural substances such as beers, wines, and some mushrooms, blur the line between food and drugs, as when ingested they affect the functioning of both mind and body.

I loved Starship Troopers when I was a kid. Its was definitely one of my favorite films and was very disappointed when they didn't continue the series. Especially because it was suppose to be a trilogy. While I wasn't a huge fan of the second film, the third one looks awesome. To bad they couldn't get Neil Patrick Harris and Denise Richards back again.

Summer seems to have completely by-passed us in the UK this year. We had a few nice days in May (...and I got sunburnt) but aside from that, it's rained pretty much constantly. Both Hevv and I have been quite lucky in that we live at the top of hills so haven't had any flooding but other parts of the country have been badly damaged by flash floods and overflowing rivers.

So then, cheer us up with your tales of summer. Been anywhere nice on holiday? Or is it just great where you are?

And if you're in the soggy UK like us, what are your plans to avoid the drizzle? Or enjoy it?

You might notice that Heather and I take it in turns writing for Fametastic - so I've had quite a slow week this week - just what I needed to recover from a busy working week combined with the usual festive activities of the week before!

Still, it means I'm a bit late asking this but still - have you got any New Year's resolutions?

Mine aren't really resolutions but there are a few things I want to do in 2007: get more organised; start exercising more to hopefully lose a little weight; and try to find some more hobbies that don't involve sitting in front of a computer as almost everything I do at the moment finds me in front of this screen... I'm glad that my goals for the year are pretty compatible but it's still hard getting motivated to do them :)

So what do you want to do?
