We've had a few attempts at making applications for Facebook but after failing at the code stage a couple of times, we decided to let someone else do the hardwork for us instead.
We've used Widgetbox's great App Accelerator to integrate the Fametastic widget into Facebook: streaming our headlines to your profile page as we update throughout the day, every day.
You can get it from here: http://apps.facebook.com/fametastic/ (we'll add a button to our 'Read Fametastic' list on the side panel shortly).
At the moment you have to click on the app to view the widget - see an example on our Facebook page (and add us as your friend while you're there!) - but when we have a bit more time to look at designing it from scratch ourselves, we'll hopefully get that sorted out so it just displays on your profile's front page as it should do.
If you use Myspace or Pizco - or a host of other related sites, you can get the widget directly from Widgetbox - it's super easy to install and looks pretty great (in our ever-so-humble opinion). Again, you can see it at work (and add us as your friend!) on our Myspace page.
