When Britney Spears and Kevin Federline first split last November, it seemed laughable that party-animal wannabe Kevin would get custody of their boys - and there were a number of sources claiming he'd fight for it just to get more money out of Britney.
But fast-forward to now and Kevin is actually looking like the better parent - not because he's done anything special, just while Britney's partying and meltdowns have been captured by every camera in California, Kevin has stayed out of the limelight (or the limelight has stayed away from him). It's completely swung the other way - it seems almost laughable that party-hearty Britney would get the boys.
However, a source has told TMZ that it's still about the money for Kevin - he'll either get a (more) hefty child support allowance from her or will accept cash to make the challenge go away. And Kevin's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan is pushing for Britney to pay the legal fees for both parties - and they're already in six figures.
